For the last 8 years, we, the american people, have watched our economy plunge to a horrific depth, led by the majority Republican party in both houses, and the president of the United States. Their solutions to pull us out of this quagmire has failed.

It is time to try something new. We cannot continue with the same ideas and solutions provided to us in the past 8 years. We, the people, hired (voted in) President Obama because we felt he could make this happen, amongst other things (accountability, oversight, end to the war, etc). His plan makes sense.
